China's tax revenue up 6.6% in 2015

Core Tip:China collected 11.06 trillion yuan ($1.69 trillion) in taxes in 2015, up 6.6 percent year-on-year, new data showed on Sunday.

China collected 11.06 trillion yuan ($1.69 trillionin taxes in 2015, up 6.6 percent year-on-yearnew data showed on Sunday.

The growth pace was in line with overall economic growth last yearaccording to the StateAdministration of Taxation.

Tax collected from tertiary industry accounted for 54.8 percent of the totalup 1.3 percentagepoints from the previous year and 9.7 percentage points higher than the secondary sector.

The growth rate in tax collected from the tertiary sector was 7.6 percent, 5.5 percentage pointshigher than the secondary sector.

Modern commerce service sectors developed healthily last yearespecially software and ITtechnology services.
