AlSi Alloy Cylinder Liners

Compared to conventional cast iron cylinder liners, AlSi cylinder liners have following advantages:

Adopting AlSi alloys could reduce the weight, each reduces 0.5kg.

AlSi alloys have higher thermal conductivity, which can raise the engine effeciency by ignition timing optimization.

Optimal designs on operating surface and special processing technology could reduce the abrasion of piston rings, lower oil consumption up to 30% and reduce 5% abrasion.

AlSi cylinder liners have excellent match to CTE of pistons, which can reduce the gaps between pistons and cylinder liners, lower noise and increase engine power.

The excellent combination among metals could reduce liners’distortion and engine knocking, increase the stiffness of crankcase to increase the engine power.

AlSi cylinder liners have excellent machinability, could be precisely machined and formed by kinds of tranditional machining methods.

The materials are easy recycling.Compared to other metal metrix materials,AlSi alloys could be recycled for many times, which are in accordance with the requirements of environmental materials.
