The surface of work piece is not smooth, if welding equipment can not tracking the changes of surface height, then welding accuracy will also decline. To satisfy customers requirements and improve welding seam quality and accuracy in a large scale, we invented AUTO AHC series automatic welding arc height control system. Any height changes of work piece surface will be detected by high-accurate sensor, and then be transmitted to controller. The accurate welding torch will oscillate following the motion of slide, driven by controller to realize automatic arc height control. This system can effectively overcomes any problems caused by height changes of work piece surface, decreases labor intensity and influences of human factors, and guarantees welding quality and efficiency.
