Application: Ethylene Oxide also is named Epoxyethane, it is an organic compound, is a toxic carcinogen, is easy soluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents.
Chemical property is very active, can have addition reaction with many organic compounds.
Previously used to make fungicides, is widely used in detergent, pharmaceutical, printing and dyeing and other industries in the chemical related industries, starting as a detergent agent.
Ethylene Oxide is mainly used as intermediate and raw material for organic synthesis and used for manufacturing non-ionic surfactant, EOA, EG, glycol ether, Polyurethane, Poly (ethylene glycol) polyether polyols, chorine chloride and FMEE. Beside the above usage, it is also can be used in the field of medical science (disinfectant) and rubber and food industry (fumigant and antacids) and rocket and jet fuel.
