Description: Ferro Silicon is an atomised alloy, which is formed by combining iron and silicon with a silicon content

range of 15% to 90%. Ferro Silicon is a universal "heat-blocker" used in the production of carbon and stainless steels.

Properties: We add a certain volume of silicon to steel to improve the strength, hardness and flexibility of steel. Ferro

Silicon also improves permeability of steel and lowers hysteresis loss of transformer steel obviously. Ferro Silicon is an

important type of inoculation and nodulizer in the process of spheroidal graphite cast iron making.

Application: Ferro Silicon is usually used in steel industry as a deoxidizing material and it is also used as a bud or spraut

in the Moulding industry. It also has major applications as deoxidizing material in steel manufacturing and alloy

manufacturing industries, in the production of cast iron and steel, making improvement in the metallic structure and

granulation in the molding of alloy and nonalloy cast irons, restoration of other Ferro alloys, and especially in the

structure of nouvelle alloy steel.
