High Silica Sleeve are composed of continuous filaments of amorphous silica, the materials are capable of operating continuously at 1000C and at up to 1600C for limited periods, they will not melt or vaporize until temperature exceeds 1700C, and have a high resistance to thermal shock.
The High Silica Sleeve can be applied in aerospace (gas turbin and rocket engines), metallurgical, nuclear power, electricity generation, petrochemical industries, etc. For example, tube seals, high temperature gaskets, heaters, reformers, turbine exhaust, boilers, thermocouple wire, etc.
