Integral Heavy Weight Drill Pipe

Made from AISI 4145H alloy steel and fully heat treated, all its physical properties conform to the latest API Spec. Heavy drill pipe is the tansition section between ordinary kelly and drill collar. It can relieve the stress concentration of the combition of drill collar and kelly during the transition. Besides, it can provide drill pressure and reduce the linked area of drill stem and side wall, as well as wear rate of OD. There is an upset section in the middle of drill pipe. The drill pipe and joint are welded with cemented carbidehardbanding, which can effectively keep the pipe from wearing. HWDP can replace drill collar and solve series of problems appearing in the vertical well of softer geologic struction. Its advantages are as follows:
