Masking tape is a type of pressure sensitive tape made of a thin and easy-to-tear crepe paper,and an easily released pressure in a variety of widths,
The adhesive is the key element to its usefulness,as it allows the tape to be easily removed without leaving residue or damaging the surface to which it is applied.
Classifications:
According to operating environment temperature,the masking tape can be classified into:
l Normal temperature type,temperature performance:within 80 centigrade.Suited for indoor decoration masking,velveteen clearing,packaging etc.
l Medium temperature type,temperature performance between 80℃~120℃.Suited for car painting masking,lathe painting masking etc.
l High temperature type,temperature performance between 120℃~180℃.Suited for baking varnish,electronic industrial etc.
Masking tape also can be classified as high-tack adhesive tape,middle-tack adhesive tape,low-tack adhesive tape according to its stickiness ,peeling strength and persisting time.
