Procure It Direct is different to a standard Procurement Agent –we take advice from the relevant leading party i.e. Owning Company,Project Manager, Design Team and/or Operator on quantities andspecifications of the FF&E / OS&E – we then sourcealternative suppliers on an ‘equal and approved’ basis thereforematching (or sometimes beating) the original entry specificationsput forward by the design team. The vast majority of our supplynetwork is based in Asia, predominantly China, where we have ourregional office based in Guangzhou. We directly employ hotelprocurement specialists for the day-to-day operations of thecompany .

It’s worth pointing reinforcing that we are not ProcurementAgents, as we go direct to manufacturing source and cut out theneed for agents and middle men, usually resulting in large clientsavings. Our goods are quality controlled by our team and we takecontractual responsibility on price and delivery (unlike aProcurement Agent). We do not have productcatalogues as we rely on the Interior Designer to steer the designsaround their aspirations. To quote effectively and beultra-competitive, we would need the following information:

- Cut Sheets (containing part numbers, manufacturers referencesof original specified items)

We operate on a supply only basis – we have found that clientscan still generate large savings by issuing our goods as ‘freeissue’ to the installation contractor and providing them with anagreed mark up to manage the installation.
