withstand exceptionally high assembly loads over a small area, thus producing high seating stresses.
Applications:
Ring joint gasket is primarily used in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries to seal flanged connections subject to gas pipe flange, pressure vessel, high speed joint face, valve with high temperature and high pressure place.
Specifications:
- Fully comply with the ASME B16.20 standard and the API spec 6A requirements (where applicable)
- All gaskets complying to API standard 6A are marked with API monogram license no as per API-6A (PSL4)
- Meet the rigid quality requirements for ring joint gaskets set by the American Petroleum Institute (API)
- Shape: oval, Octagonal,Delta,Lens
- Standards: Standard style R ring type joints are manufactured in accordance with both API 6A and ASME B16.20 size and ratings
- Available in both oval and octagonal configurations, both types are interchangeable on the modern octagonal type grooved flanges
- As with all metal ring type joints including style R, it is recommended to replace the ring when flange connection is broken
