Vacuum Insulated Tubing (VIT)

Today Freet introduce vacuum insulated tubing (VIT) for your reference, VIT is widely used in steamed thermal recovery for heavy oil well and super heavy oil well in EOR system, composed of pipe string, thermocase, coupling, sealing ring and insulated liner couping. VIT is with API buttress thread, with PTFE sealing ring in the coupling and insulated liner coupling in the annulus space between inner and outer tubes.

Freet has manufactured prestressed insulated tubing(PIT) since 1989. Vacuum insulated tubing(VIT) is the fourth generation PIT for heavy oil thermal recovery by Freet, with the thermal conductivity less than 0.015 w/m*C. Also we developed Supercritical insulated tubing(SIT), the fifth generation product of PIT, as a new product territory in which hasn't been set foot in the world, SIT can meet such well condition that temperature of steam injection is not more than 390 centigrade, injection pressure is not more than 26MPa, well depth is less than 2, 300 meters.

Freet became Shell qualified supplier after the third party audit authorized by Shell at Nov. 2007, passed the auditing by ConocoPhillips in 2011. Freet developed H2S resistance 80SS VIT through two-year hard work according to PDO's well condition, and also obtained national patent of VIT. Freet also sent technicians to do site service during PDO's second down-hole operation at Aug. 2010.
