Made from bauxite, ceramic proppant is used in oil & gas well fracturing process and can increase production. In the hydraulic fracturing process, water, proppants and chemical agents are pumped into deep underground rock by high pressure pump, the high pressure extrudes rock into cracks, while proppants keep the ground rock from collapsing by filling into the cracks, it makes gas and oil more easier to be collected through cracks.
Wanli plant has an annual capacity of 280,000 metric tons ceramic proppants with 8 production lines.
