Process: All the P.U. chemicals are first mixed together in amixing chamber & then taken into a metal trough where theinitial reaction takes place. The rising foam then passes from thetop of the trough on to a variable width fall plate, which thenleads the expanding foam block along a metal slat conveyor forfurther expansion.
Outputs: The machine is delivers a maximum of 350kgper minute.
Metering System: There are seven metering systems in all. Allmetering system are equipped with world class AC motors, ACvariable speed drives, Viking, U.S.A made internal gear pumps(for very low slippage), pressure gauges & Recirculationnetwork to ensure high class quality product.
Foaming Tunnel & Conveyor: The tunnelconstruction forms a complete enclosure around the foam slab withtop plates, side walls & conveyor slats. The conveyor motor isalso equipped with AC speed drive. Side walls can be adjusted from0.98m2.4 m. The length of the conveyor is 16.9 meters.
Trough & Fall Plate: The Trough & fallplate section can be adjusted height wise at various levels toensure more flattop blocks & is equipped with required motors& gearboxes.
Paper Feed & Rewind : This is a 2-paper system.The bottom paper feed reel is mounted in front of the foamingplatform & is equipped with unwinding motor for automaticoperation. Rewinding of the side papers is at the other end of thetunnel & the rewinding speed is self adjustable to synchronizewith the conveyor speed.
Control Panels: This is attached at a convenientposition on the foaming platform, It is equipped with necessaryelectronics, flow meters, pressure gauges & AC variable speeddrives.
