ABVE hydro-pneumatic accumulators

ABVE series hydro-pneumatic accumulators are mostly dedicated to the energy storage in order to release it in the periods of the increased flow demand during a working cycle. It enables to use smaller displacement hydraulic pumps - adapted to average flow of the hydraulic circuit rather than to the maximum demanded flow, like usually. Main advantages of those accumulators are: modular construction, high volume and low price.
The ABVE bottle type accumulators consist of a forged steel body, a bladder, and a charging valve. An oil side orifice is fitted with a poppet valve which prevents extrusion of the inside bladder. Hydro-pneumatic accumulators starting from ABVE10 type are equipped with an air bleed screw used during system start-up. Type of elastomer and inside coating determine allowable working fluids. It is mineral-based hydraulic oil as a standard, but the accumulator can be adopted to work with other fluids. Charging and gauging can be done with VGL 4 or CGLU 4F.
