Ring Joint Gasket
BX type ring joint gaskets are designed for API 6 BX flange grooves only, it is suitable for higher-pressure ratings starting at 2, 000 lbs and ending with 20, 000 lbs, incorporate a pressure balance hole to ensure equalization of pressure which may get trapped in the grooves.
RX Type ring joint gasket are manufactured to fit the API 6A flange's groove, interchangeable with R(oval) and R(octagonal) series, bear pressure can reach to 15000 PSI, so these gasket performance excellent in 6B flange, suitable to the higher pressures with higher vibrations and heavier weights of these units.
