We glow plugs are include many types as following:

Standard Type

Sheathed single coil glow plug, which heats at a fairly uniformrate to its maximum temperature with a constant currentconsumption.

Rapid Glow Type

The single heating coil installed in this design allows a highercurrent flow initially to promote a faster heating time. As thetemperature rises, the resistance of the coil rises to restrict thecurrent flow.

QGS Type

The 'Quick Glow System' glow plugs have specially designedheating coils, which can allow a very high current flow as soon asit is energised. Due to the extremely quick heating of these glowplugs, they require strict regulation and are only used inconjunction with specifically designed QGS control systems.

SRM Type

Self-Regulating metal glow plugs contain two coils. The heatingcoil at the tip of the probe provides the heat source; the second(regulating) coil allows an extremely fast warm-up time totemperatures in excess of 900oC and once this temperature isreached can autonomously maintain a high final temperature allowinglonger post-heating times.
