Boring refers what maily use boring tool to machining pre-existing hole on the workpiece. Typically, the boring tool is based on the rotation movement, boring tool or workpiece is moving as the feed movement. It is mainly used for finish machining of processing high-precision hole or positioning to complete multiple holes.
1. Horizontal boring machine. Boring axis arranged horizontally and do axial feed movement. Headstock has the vertical movement of the rail along the front pillar, workbench do vertical or horizontal movement to do boring. This machine is widely used and more economical, It is mainly used for the processing of cabinet (or support) parts machining and other related to the hole machining surface.
2. Coordinate boring machine, Boring with precision coordinate positioning device, which is mainly used for boring the size, shape, especially high precision hole location system, it can also be used for precision coordinate measuring, marking model, scale and so on.
3. Fine boring machine. It is a boring machine with diamond or carbide cutting tools to conduct precision boring.
4. Deep hole boring machine. It is the boring machine that used for deep hole boring.
5. Landing boring machine. Artifacts housed in floor table, column along the bed to do vertical or horizontal movement. It is used for machining large workpieces.
