The FY390 has been specifically designed to meet the exacting requirements of Wind Turbine yaw and rotor braking applications, where high braking and holding torques are required over long operational periods.

 

 FY390 provides reliable long term operation over extremes of environmental conditions, andsimplified in-service inspection and maintenance for the duration of the Wind Turbine’s lifetime.

• Large brake lining area for reduced wear and operating temperatures

• Small air gap (between disc and lining) for minimum brake reaction time

• Few moving parts for increase lifetime and easy maintenance

• -40°C to 70°C operational range
