It is made from vintage old silk saris, and softly quilted. It is embroidered by artisans in countryside.

Kantha is the ancient Indian art of embroidery, actually thekantha is a simple running stitch. The way in which the stitch hasbeen used is what makes the quilt extraordinary. While making thePIECES, the cloth is given layers that are kept together by thestitches. It is made is such a way that it is REVERSIBLE, can beused from both sides. It is different on both side.
