As middle and high grade CNC machine tools, MKS1332 andMKS1632 CNC (endface) external cylindrical grindingmachines are independently developed on the basis of applying newtechnologies and rich experience of designing and manufacturing CNCgrinding machines. Characterized by theuniversalization, high-degree modularization, highrigidity, high efficiency, high adaptability, highprecision, easy to operate and reliableperformance, these machines are suitable for the massproductive processing of automobile enginecrankshaft, camshaft, differential housing, flangeplate, and parts of transmission system, such astransmission shaft, halfshaft, gear (wheel) shaft, etc., inaddition, they also can be applied in the small-scale highprecision productions in workshops of militaryindustries, aviation industry, aerospace industry andcommon precision machining.
With the rational layout and integral protective cover, themachine tool is convenient for maintenance and in conformity withhuman engineering requirements.With a sleeve typehydrostatic/hydrodynamic mainshafting adopted for the grindingwheel spindle, the machine tool features on the high rotaryprecision and good rigidity. The linear speed of the grindingwheel can reach 60m/s (for specially ordered) and that ofCBN grinding wheel is 80m/s (for specially ordered).Withtwo-axis linkage feeding, the machine tool is equipped withworktable (Z axis) and a wheel head (Xaxis) driven by AC servomotor and ball screws, withminimum setting unit of 0.1μm and maximum fast feed speed of20m/min.The machine tool can be provided with various types ofdiamond dressers (installed on the rear side of the workhead) according to the needs of customers, thus realizingprecise numerical control trimming and automatic compensation.Themachine tool is provided with an imported or a domestic activemeasuring device, thus realizing the closed-loop control ofgrinding process.The machine tool adopts an imported advanced CNCsystem and is provided with all-around controlling functionsincluding grinding program changes, work-piece qualitycontrol, machine condition monitoring, faultself-diagnostics, abnormal alarm, and convenient menutype interface input.
