This standard applies to products installed in thehousehold and similar purposes not more than single-phase AC ratedvoltage 250 V, rated at not more than 12 A, DC rated voltage notmore than 150 V, rated at not more than 16 A temperature on theelectrical control apparatus. It includes a bi-metallic componentsfor the temperature control for the purpose of the dual-temperaturemetal temperature regulator (the thermostat) to prevent overheatingand for the purpose of the bi-metallic temperature limiter (limittemperature), both collectively referred to as bi-metallictemperature controller
