3. Characteristics:
a) Low-cost: Zinc coating is cheaper than other coatings.
b) Lasting and durable: The zinc coating is attached by chemical reaction to become
the surface of the steel sheet, therefore, the coating lasts for a long time. Generally,
standard zinc coating (Z60-Z100) can last for 30 years without any repair, while in
coastal areas lasting 20 years.
c) Strong toughness: The zinc coating owns special metallurgical structure which
bears mechanical damages in delivery and application.
d) Overall protection: The steel materials are totally submerged into the alloy and
galvanized in every place; even the depressions, concaves, and sharp corners of
the steel materials could be galvanized and protected.
e) Convenient: Galvanizing is easier and more convenient than other coating application.
Besides, applied in construction, there’s no need to paint once the galvanized steel coils
&sheets are installed in construction sites.
