Insulation joint consists of structure parts, insulating ring, filling material, sealing ring and short tube . The insulating material and the seal ring are fixed in structure parts without relative movement with them , which ensures joints sealing capacity. Monolithic Insulating joint is the key component in Cathodic Protection (CP) System. It is mainly used in underground gas transition and distribution system including gas reducing station, each section of gas transition and distribution pipeline, also the part between gas reducing station and the pipeline, which increase the life of the plant and equipment by reducing or eliminating the electric and chemical corrosion damage. The cathodic protection structures/surfaces are isolated from the unprotected structures by installing Monolithic Joints. Monolithic insulation Joints are superior to Insulation Kit gasket assembly
