Details

Diesel engine carbon fume particles filters are our specially-developed honeycomb ceramics of special structure,  which are special materials for catching carbon fume particles, and are made with new technology and new materials based on cordierite honeycomb ceramic, and has good pore distribution ability. The carbon fume filtering ratio is larger than 85%.

Chemical and physical properties:
1) Chemical composition: SiO2, 50.9±1%;
Al2O3, 35.2±1%; MgO, 13.9±1%
2) Compression strength under normal temperature: ≥12MPa
3) Thermal expansion coefficient: ≤17 x 10-6/oC
4) Wall thickness: 0.44-0.52mm (100 cells/square inch), 0.30-0.40mm (200cells/square
inch)
5) Pore ratio: 45-50%
6) Mean pore bore: 8-13μm
7) Max. use temperature: 1,000oC
8) Carbon fume filtering ratio: ≥85%
