Double Sphere Rubber Expansion Joint Screwed Union (S30)

S30 style molded rubber expansion joints are the choice when aneconomical threaded pipe connection is needed. The S30 isengineered to absorb thermal movement, offset and misalignment inpiping systems. The S30 style is an excellent choice to absorb andisolate vibration. Use the S30 to protect your system from start-upforces as well as system surges. There is no need to worry aboutElectrolysis when using a S30. Due to the design of the S30 havinga rubber body it eliminates metal to metal contact stopping theelectrolytic process.

The S30 comes standard with galvanized malleable iron femaleunions. Stainless T-304 and T-316 unions are also available. TheS30 rubber expansion joint comes standard and in EPDM and Neoprene.The body components (tube/cover) are also available in acombination of the following additional materials on special order:Neoprene, EPDM, Butyl, Nitrile, Hypalon, etc. The S30 is alsoavailable on special request with the following female unionthreads: BSPP, BSPT and other standards.
