The gem refractometer is a compact refractometer with built-in LED illumination for the determination of the refractive index, quality control and categorization of gemstones.
Each gem has a typical refractive index due to its chemical composition and crystallization structure. The gem refractometer can observe the optical properties and the structure of a gemstone. Through the parameters you can judge whether the gem is an anisotropic stone or isotropic stone. The stone needs a flat and polished facet. Contact liquid(RI Fluid) is also needed when testing.
