Guava (Psidium guajava) is one of the important commercial fruitsin India. Guava is native to tropical America.

 

Guava is a tropical fruit, which is in very much like the shapeof a pear, and has a yellow-green skin and white, yellow, orred/pink flesh. The guava tree belongs to the myrtle familyMyrtaceae. The tree is native to Mexico, as well as CentralAmerica, Northern South America and parts of the Carribbean. Theyare now cultivated throughout the tropics.
