1 oxidation layer characteristics
(1) pipe surface form scale after high temperature hot rolling, formation again after furnace or BAF, formation of oxides can be roughly divided into three layers:
Out layer(Fe2 O3 Fe3 O4)
Middle layer(FeO)
Intermediate layer (FeO);
The inner layer (FeO/Cr2O3, or FeO/Cr2O3/NiO), of course, is also critical for acid cleaning between oxide layer and substrate.
(2) there is a great relationship between the structure of Scale and the content of O2 in furnace, and the content of O2 is different from that of scale.
