Working principle

 1.Catalytic converter isa device used to reduce the toxicity of emissions from an internalcombustion engine.

  2.Bycleaning up the pollutants left over from combustion throughchemical Oxidation and Reduction reactions, the catalyticconverters convert the tailpipe emissions of hydrocarbons (HC) andcarbon monoxide (CO) into nitrogen (N2), carbon dioxide (CO2) andwater (H2O), and elevate the harmful emissions to extremely lowlevels.
