White tea is a tea made with leaves that are processed in amanner to let them wilt slightly and lose the "grassy" taste ofgreen tea, while undergoing minimal oxidation. Like green, oolongand black tea, white tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant.Oolong and black teas are oxidized before curing.

A2009 Kingston University study showed that white tea had highanti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-collagenase, andanti-elastase properties which could potentially reduce the risksof developing rheumatoid arthritis, some cancers, heart disease& slow the enzymatic break down of elastin and collagen (iewrinkles or sagging) which accompany aging.
