This rotary dryer is a type of industrialdryer employed to reduce the moisture content ofbiomass materials like sawdust, wood shavings and coffee husk, bybringing them into direct contact with a heated gas. The dryer iscapable of handling large quantity of raw materials to be furtherprocessed. 
How The Rotary Dryer Works 
Consolidating, roasting and drying are achieved by passing thematerial through a rotating cylinder. Steam pipes are placed aroundthe rotating cylinder and covered by the steam layer. The rawmaterial is roasted and dried by directly contact with the steamlayer or hot steam generated from the steam pipes. The surface ofthe material dried is perfectly smooth and neat, allowing the highquality dried material.
