Cyclohexanone is a colorless, flammable liquid, with the smell ofacetone. Yueyang is one of the largest production base.
Features:Cyclohexanone is a colorless flammable liquid, with thesmell of acetone, it is slightly soluble in water and soluble inalcohol and ethyl ether. It is volatile and its vapor can formexplosive mixture with air, the explosion limit is 1.1%-9.4%(vol).It is irritant to eyes, nose and throat, but not corrosive.
Applications:Used for making adipic acid, caprolactam etc., aswell as dyes,insecticides,paints,resins,solvents and so on. Inmedical industry,it can be used to make progesterone and so on.
Package:It should be contained in clean and dry tank cars orgalvanized iron drums and tightly sealed. An indentification labeland a “flammable matter” sign should be steadily attached on thedrums.
Transportation and storage: It should be stored in dry, wellventilated storehouse,and isolated from fire. The storage period is3 months.During transportation,shocks should be prevented to avoiddamaging the welds on the drums. Do not expose it to sunlight andrain.
