Barite is the most conventional minerals of barium, its main chemical composition is BaSO4, its chemical properties is
stability, insoluble in water and hydrochloric acid, nonmagnetic and nontoxic, and it is an important non-metal mineral raw materials. Barite powder is made of barite through the process of crushing, removing impurity and washing, drying and milling.
In oil & gas industry, barite power is used for heavy weight additive of circumfluent mud in oil and gas wells rotary drilling process, and it can cool the drill bit, lubricate drill pipe, close Hole wall, control oil & gas pressure, prevent flowing of well, reduce abrasive wear between sleeve and drill pipe.
