With Ti, 316Ti has better intercrystalline corrosion resistance and applied to the resistance of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, acetic acid equipment. It has good grain boundary corrosion resistance.316Ti stainless steel has a high resistance to many chemical corrodents and marine atmospheres. 316Ti stainless steel is more resistant to general corrosion and pitting/crevices than conventional austenitic stainless steels. 316Ti is also well suited for fabricated or formed applications.
