BulkDensity Apparatus is a specially designed to study the packing downof powder beds of different pharmaceutical and chemical powders,flakes, pellets, granules and other bulk substances. Bulk Densityis an essential test required in the process of tablet, capsulefilling and cosmetic manufacturing

The systemis equipped with microcontroller based digital display fordisplaying accurate and exact stroke count and soft touch membranetype keys for ease of operation.

The systemhas ''SET'', ''UP'' and ''DOWN'' keys, for setting the total numberof required strokes (Set Count) for the current measurementsession. User can set to any number of required strokes within therange from 1 to 9999 counts. The system automatically stores thelast ''Set Count'' value which is retained in the memory even whenthe instrument is switched off.

Each strokecount is displayed on the 4 digit seven segment bright red LEDdisplay on the front panel. A common lock cushioned holder for boththe cylinders drops down smoothly from the height and holds thecylinders. The Up/Down (i.e. Tapping) movement of the cylindersstop automatically at the ''Set Count'' value. An audible alarmsound indicates

that thecurrent measurement session is over.

In case ofpower failure, the last counts are retained and the instrumentstarts counting

automatically from the point ofpower failure.

Theinstrument uses the latest microprocessor technology and advancedengineering

techniquesso as to give enhanced accuracy andreproducibility.
